Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity. As a Senior Project Manager, this person performs a lead role in managing the implementation of large, complex enterprise projects and programs in support of the organization’s mission. This position resides in the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) of the Information and Technology Services (ITS) / Enterprise Solution Delivery department of the organization. You will report to the Manager, IT Project Portfolio. This is a contract opportunity based in Chicago, IL with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or universityPMP Certification strongly preferredMinimum seven (7) years of related experience in a Project Manager position requiredExperience in education project or program work, preferredProficient in Project Management practices, principles, and toolsKnowledgeable about organization and process structuresExcellent written and verbal communication skills are requiredAbility to apply process standardsSelf-motivated/willing to take initiativePoven ability to build positive working relationships within own team and other areas of businessThe candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be requiredLegally authorized to work in the US without sponsorshipMust demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
