We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.   As a project manager within the facilities services organization, you will be responsible for managing projects with direct impact on spend, stores and store partners and that improve the efficiency of the store development facilities services organization. Responsibilities include overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of a project within a defined scope, timeline, and budget. This involves setting clear goals, developing detailed project plans, allocating resources, and managing the project team. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, mitigating risks, and ensuring that project milestones are met. The project manager also serves as the primary point of communication between working team, leaders, and vendor/suppliers, ensuring that expectations are aligned, and progress is tracked. Throughout the project, they monitor performance, resolve issues, and adapt plans as necessary to keep the project on track.   As a project manager, facilities services, you will…   Execute projects intended to maximize the efficiency of expense spend, improve equipment performance and building business processes that support efficiency across the store development facilities services organization Work cross functionally with key stakeholders across sourcing, equipment engineering, operations, store development and other departments within the organization to not only complete projects, but also document business process supporting, launch, training and sustainment of projects and initiatives Present project updates to business partners and leaders throughout facilities and store development; outlining key objectives, timelines, roadblocks and other needed sustainment activities to bring projects through to completion. Drives decision making with your function's leader(s) that favors alignment over consensus building. Develop a cohesive team committed to working together and completing the project to the best of their ability Role models a positive and productive work environment, and coaches others to do the same Understand and manage the project stakeholder community

We’d love to hear from people with: Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications Minimum of 3 years of experience managing large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects Minimum of 2 years of experience building and mentoring team 4-year degree preferred

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.   The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
