The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. This role is on-site daily and not remote.

We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision-making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.

As the GTM Project Manager, your primary role will be driving launch excellence of On-Market product changes with cross-functional teams across the Infectious Disease portfolio globally.  It’ll be critical to understand the markets we are aiming to serve, partner with both regional and global teams, and build relationships to bridge knowledge gaps and influence change without authority.  Doing so will result in helping to serve a very broad community of patients globally and serve a greater healthcare need. 

What You’ll Work On 

Partner with regional and global cross-functional teams to drive launch excellence of products, globally

Create templates and tools, and conduct training on the Go To Market process, deliverables, and expectations

Build relationships as a liaison to both regional and global stakeholders to understand GTM plans, identify gaps, brainstorm solutions, and ensure accountability of teams/deliverables

Influence change to align to a global structure, creating excitement and campaigns to help drive adoption

Work with launch teams to establish KPIs to quantify success and measure progress regularly

Monthly reporting of launch readiness or post-launch execution against KPIs

Build excitement around successful launches and encourage knowledge sharing across teams ​

You must have excellent communication/presentation skills and be comfortable with presenting to leadership in order to perform well in this role.

 

Required Qualifications 

Associate degree in Marketing, Business, Biological Science or related field required.

5 or more years of related work experience, with at least 4 years of commercial experience is preferred.

Travel 30% ​including globally if required.

Preferred Qualifications 

Bachelor and MBA Degrees are strongly preferred and will help you stand out as a candidate.

Commercial financial acumen (demand forecasting, building sales funnels, monitoring lead/lag measures, etc).

Global Product Launch experience

4+ years of Marketing experience

2+ years of Professional and Consumer Healthcare product exp. preferred

2+ years of Smartsheet, MS Project, and Power BI experience preferred

PowerBI or related Master Data capability ​

Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally healthcare.

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
