**About the Role**
As the Project Manager for the Events Marketing Design Team, you will serve as the organizational backbone, ensuring that all design projects supporting WSJ's exclusive events are delivered on time and within scope. You'll collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and production teams to streamline workflows, manage timelines, and optimize resources. Your expertise in project management will be key to transforming creative ideas into tangible, premium outputs that elevate the WSJ brand for a discerning, executive audience.
**You Will:**
+ Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and workflows for all event design initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and event strategies.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress, identifying risks, and proactively resolving bottlenecks to maintain momentum.
+ Collaborate with the design lead to translate creative concepts into actionable project roadmaps.
+ Serve as the central point of contact between the design team and stakeholders, including marketing, editorial, and events teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
+ Work with other design team Project Managers to manage creative resourcing.
+ Facilitate regular check-ins, creative reviews, and status updates to keep all teams informed and aligned.
+ Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and freelancers, managing their deliverables and timelines.
+ Allocate design resources effectively, balancing workload across the team to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
+ Track project budgets, ensuring costs are managed efficiently and align with financial constraints.
+ Provide recommendations for additional resources or tools needed to enhance team efficiency and output.
+ Ensure all design deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, aligning with WSJ brand guidelines and audience expectations.
+ Conduct final checks on materials, verifying they are accurate, polished, and ready for production or deployment.
+ Continuously evaluate and refine project management processes to improve efficiency and collaboration.
+ Implement tools and systems that enhance workflow transparency and accountability across teams.
**You Have:**
+ 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within a design, marketing, or events-focused environment.
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
+ Proficient in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar platforms.
+ Familiarity with design and production workflows, including digital and environmental design processes.
+ Understanding of design platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $135,000
