Complete Description:
This position will initially manage a project to implement the Master Data Management solution; this solution is needed to support the Secretariat of Health and Human Resources enterprise efforts in the Health IT (HIT) and Medicaid IT Architecture (MITA) areas
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing project management of a highly complex project associated with development and delivery of new services.
- Develop the project initiation documentation, planning all aspects of the project including but not limited to schedule, budget, resourcing plan, risk plan, change control, issues management, communications plan, performance measures, project status reporting, and integration with other projects.
- Insure project compliance with existing Commonwealth project management legislation, standards, and policies.
Must possess:
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools .
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field desired, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing multiple vendors
• Working knowledge of Master Data Management products
• Working knowledge of Data Management concepts and principles
• Infrastructure experience preferred
• Hands on experience developing complex integrated project schedules
• Candidate MUST possess a PMI/PMP certification or complete the Commonwealth IT Project Manager Qualification within the first 30 days of employment. (For info on the Commonwealth's IT PM certification -
