As the Project Manager of Digital Acceleration Initiatives, you'll collaborate closely with the Global Head of Digital Transformation, Program Directors, and cross-functional partners, structuring initiatives, supervising outcomes, and addressing blockers. Position Responsibilities:
Own and drive large-scale digital projects across Manulife segments and business-units. Aggregate a clear and ongoing view of the project financials, and outcome tracking. Highlight key issues, risks and blockers requiring immediate action or intervention.Drive Executive Steering Committees synthesizing program status in senior executive forums. Ensure Adherence to the Manulife Outcome Delivery Framework where applicable. Support the coordination and management of projects across segments including follow ups on additional information required from project. managers/product leads on global projects based on asks for global digital leadership team. Provide support to ensure Governance model is implemented in the most efficient manner and is updated/refined on an ongoing basis based on learning from ongoing execution. Champion continued learning and development, facilitating continuous improvement. Collaborate with Product Management team to evolve toward an increasingly agile, continuous delivery operating model.Required Qualifications:
7+ years of progressive work experience in Financial Industry. 3+ years of applied experience in delivering complex projects. Bachelor's or Master's degree from a prestigious university; an MBA is highly advantageous.Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM or Scaled Agile methodologies are a plus. Initiative, willingness to take personal risks, and proficient presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs or MarTech is a plus. Experience in Agile ways of working, with a dedicated focus on achieving results. Exceptional analytical skills and demonstrated leadership ability.When you join our team:
