The Opportunity:

Tetra Tech is adding a Project Manager to manage projects related to project coordination and field support services. This role will be responsible for overseeing project coordination, work planning, work control facilitation, communication management, and action status tracking.

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor. A general knowledge of nuclear materials operations and activities performed at DOE/NNSA national laboratories and sites is essential.

Your Role:

Manage all aspects of project coordination, including planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress to ensure timely and successful completion. Develop work plans, control procedures, and facilitate the execution of project tasks, ensuring compliance with established safety and operational protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, team members, and clients. Facilitate clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project actions, track status updates, and provide regular reports to management and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including DOE/NNSA personnel, to ensure alignment and cooperation. Identify project challenges and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and resolve issues in a timely manner. Ensure all project activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards, particularly those related to DOE/NNSA requirements.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of a B.S. degree in Management, Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience working with DOE/NNSA programs and sites. A background in Program Management and business development is preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in office software programs and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to manage multiple programs and personnel simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of nuclear materials operations at DOE/NNSA national laboratories and sites. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions

 

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with DOE/NNSA operational standards and procedures. Experience in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and attitude at all times.

 

Security Clearance: Must have or be capable of obtaining a DOE Q-clearance.
