Project Manager- M&A and Transaction Solutions An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (PM) in Aon's M&A and Transactions Solutions ("AMATS") Nordic practice (based in Stockholm). The AMATS team is a combined practice of Insurance, Human Capital, Cyber and Intellectual Property experts with a dedicated focus on transactional activity. The team provides insurance advisory services to private equity and infrastructure funds as well as strategic, corporate buyers, on both buy-side and sell-side opportunities. We are seeking a candidate for a project management position. You will report to our Head of AMATS Nordics. The primary responsibility of the PM will be to support the team in the management of M&A insurance due diligence engagements which provide project management and advisory services to Buyers and Sellers in the pre-acquisition and pre-sale environment. The project work will consist of insurance due diligence, planning for post-closing insurance programs, new entity cost structures, and reviewing applicable transaction documentation. Additionally, the role will involve the proactive identification of any additional M&A insurance solutions and wider advisory services that Aon may also be able to provide to clients during the transaction and following the completion of a deal. Key to the role will be the coordination of Aon resources, technical advice and solutions across various geographies and practices within Aon. Key responsibilities will involve: Support the team in the provision of insurance due diligence advisory for private equity, infrastructure and corporate clients in support of their M&A processes; diligence includes collection and tracking of requested information, review of the target’s exposure and insurance-related information provided in the data room, interviews with management, gleaning and collation of technical insurance commentary, and production of diligence reports opining on the adequacy of the insurance and risk management protections, together with the provision of commentary on the insurance-related elements of transaction documentation Support project management engagement Liaise with clients and other advisors Help coordinate internal Aon expertise/resources/solutions across various practices and geographies Help determine opportunities for cross-selling other Aon products, services, and solutions Assist in the management of post-close program placement Your skills and qualifications must include: University Qualification 2+ years of general insurance experience essential Fluent written and spoken English (in addition to a Scandinavian language) What we are looking for in you: Property & casualty insurance experience (broking or underwriting) across core insurance sector Outstanding communication skills both oral and written essential Aptitude for articulating (both verbally and in writing) technical or complicated issues in a concise manner Proven organisational capabilities Ability to help manage multiple projects and multiple engagements simultaneously Comfortable with a flexible work schedule Analytical abilities Interested?
