Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Management

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary site team.Serve as the primary point of contact with the client's project manager.

Client & Contractor Coordination

Liaise daily with the Client and EPCM Contractor on technical, legal, and contractual matters.Coordinate works to ensure compliance with contract specifications and project schedules.

Project Oversight

Oversee the development and implementation of the power plant project.Monitor project progress, address delays, and ensure timely completion.Approve key deliverables and make critical technical and commercial decisions.

Contractual & Commercial Management

Handle all contractual and commercial aspects of the project.Initiate and manage contract changes and claims against contractors.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 10 years as a Project Manager.Proven experience in site-based project execution, particularly in power plant projects.Experience with power plant consultants, EPC/EPCM contractors, and gas turbine OEMs.Familiarity with tendering, contracts, and plant performance, especially in the Middle East.Consultancy experience managing projects of 350 MW and above is an added advantage.

Regional Expertise

GCC/UAE experience is mandatory.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.A Master's degree in the power sector is an advantage.

Certifications

PMP certification is an advantage.
