Project Manager 2
The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Program Manager 2 to work at the UHealth Medical Campus.
Core Job Summary
The Project Manager 2 (H) assists teams to deliver projects that span across one or more units, furthering institutional healthcare goals and objectives. The Project Manager 2 (H) oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of various UHealth projects to ensure the successful development, completion, and implementation of projects and initiatives
Core Responsibilities
Prepares reports regarding project status, costs, and activities.
Establishes practices, policies, and partnerships to effectively carry out functions.
Defines the scope of projects in conjunction with leadership.
Discusses the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
Determines the resources required to complete each project.
Establishes and documents comprehensive project plans and timelines, which identify and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects.
Department Specific Functions
Lease Negotiation and Renewal: Negotiate lease terms with new and existing tenants. o Manage lease renewals and extensions, ensuring terms are favorable and compliant.
Lease Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease records and documentation.
Tenant Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding lease-related inquiries.
Rent Collection: Oversee the collection of rent and other payments from tenants. Property Management
Operational Oversight: Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities as needed.
Budget Management: Assist in developing budgets as needed, including operating expenses and maintenance costs; review monthly financial reports. Strategic Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Tasks: o Coordinate with Space Planning department for renovations, relocations, and expansions of existing administrative and clinical spaces as needed.
Coordinate with Accounting related to payment processing of rental expenses and other charges for our leased and owned spaces.
Coordinate with Facilities regarding maintenance-related needs at our various locations.
Project Management: Coordinate property improvement projects, renovations, and other projects with IPD team.
Ensure Tenant Improvement dollars are properly spent and reconciliations are performed timely in accordance with the lease.

Core Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in real estate property management, lease administration, or project management.
Real Estate License and/or Property Management License preferred, not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Knowledge of Lease Calcs is a plus
Familiarity with various types of lease agreements.
Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting.
Understanding of financial terms related to leases, such as CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges, escalations, and rent adjustments.
Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
