Job Description: Advantage SCI is accepting applications for Project Manager to be considered for employment. This individual shall support the Government team leads at multiple locations throughout the DC Metro, VA, and Maryland area.
Summary of duties includes, but is not limited to:
• Provide management and supervision duties for employees assigned to include: schedule and assignment of duties, monitoring quality control, approve leave requests; ensure adequate coverage to meet contract requirements, approve time sheets, expense reports and invoices for accuracy and quality, counseling and evaluations;
• Coordinate tasks that will be assigned by the Government Team Leads to Security Specialists wherever they are assigned;
• In coordination with the COR and Government Team Leads, monitor and take preventative or corrective measures necessary to maintain the productivity and quality of work to ensure the overall performance of the contract is kept at a high standard for delivering professional results correctly, on time, or ahead of schedule;
• Support and interact with the Government team leads and employees at multiple locations on a regular basis to maintain a solid cooperative working partnership;
• Maintain regular communications with supervisor and keep informed of all potential issues, progress, and accomplishments;
• Drive regularly to multiple locations throughout the DC Metro, Virginia, and Maryland area to ensure quality control, engage with customers and employees, build rapport, and provide contract satisfaction;
• Create/maintain project governance processes, project schedules, project status, progress reporting and project budget;
• Perform the following: Risk/Issues Management, Escalations/Communications, Field Communications, Information Flow, Project Scope Management, Quality Control and Project Resource Management;
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, control and coordinate Project activities and composition of project team;
• Monitor, track, and report the status of assigned project and budget as requested;
• Maintain regular communications with supervisor and keep informed of all potential issues, progress, and accomplishments;
• Complete tasks to quality within estimated timeframe and budget constraints;
• Responsible for overall resource allocation for the project;
• Provide guidance and technical direction to subordinates and ensure all deliverables are in line with quality control and quality assurance plan;
• Strengthen on-site team’s effectiveness by training, coaching and creating an environment that inspires everyone to take personal ownership;
• Work closely with Human Resources to resolve employee issues, review resumes, interview and select replacement hires;
• Assist with business development and proposal efforts for company growth as requested/needed, to include add on work to existing contracts, identifying new opportunities and writing portions of proposals;
• Be a visionary with a demonstrated ability to envision the end solution and architect the actions necessary to achieve the solution; and
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
• Supervisory and Personnel Security experience required
• Have a TS clearance with current poly or be able to pass a polygraph and obtain SCI eligibility
• Associates degree in a security field or similar
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office Complete Suite
• Experience managing contract budget, performance and deliverables
• Experience managing people dispersed in multiple locations
• Able to travel on short notice
• Must have reliable means of transportation
• Experience working in DIA a plus
• Must have a valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (Only valid within 30 days of hire). To obtain the certification, visit http://iase.disa.mil/eta/.
