RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Knowledge of various project management methodologies and project management best practices such as Agile and lean frameworks.
• Possess understanding of technology-related issues and how they might impact assigned project outcomes.
• Skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution with the ability to make recommendations and mitigate timeline risks.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes and work effectively as part of a team, must possess good oral and written communication skill
• Strong working knowledge of federal requirement and technical experience working with IT systems
• Ability to multitask including management of multiple projects, teams, tasks/jobs
• Develop and manage project management workflow, schedules, gathering of requirements, creating and assigning tasks.
• Support Senior Project Managers in accomplishing efficient project management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


• This position requires two (2) Two years of progressive work experience in information technology and technical project management.
• Any of the following certifications: CompTIA A+ Certification, Security+ Certification, Network+ Certification; any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a field related to information systems, computer science, business management, or a related field.
• Prefer Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, ITIL 4 Foundation Certification, and knowledge of various project management methodologies and project management best practices such as Agile and lean frameworks. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Management, or related discipline from an accredited institution with 5 or more years’ experience
• Experience with NIST guidance
• Experience with administration of information systems
• Experience with technical projects

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Coordinates, supervises, and/or manages support personnel.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:


As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
