Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Project ManagementProposal Management and in collaboration with the technical Principal Investigators the Project Manager II is responsible for supporting the research and business services activities in the management of research projects at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence amp Security ARLIS a Department of Defense DoD University Affiliated Research Center Laboratories UARC The Project Manager II provides project management support to the Principal Investigators PIs for sponsored research As a Project Manager II you will work with the PIs to plan and direct all administrative activities regarding research projects Your goal is to help the researcher price requests for proposals including ROMs and RFIs plan resources wisely establish quality requirements for deliverables plan how to track initial progress follow university and federal rules and regulations and remove administrative burden from the PIs
