Summary:

Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to work within the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position will provide professional support to the various Divisions within NCIRD. This work will be performed at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Roybal Campus in Atlanta, GA. The CDC is the nation's premier health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency. The Project Manager will report to Goldbelt Professional Services leadership to ensure the execution of timely, high-quality deliverables for the client.

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

 

Project Manager 

Manage NCIRD Office of Management and Budget (OMB)/Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) activities and serve as point of contact for NCIRD OMB PRA policy and regulatory activities. Provide guidance and assistance to Division scientists in the implementation of OMB/PRA policy and regulatory activities. Coordinate and provide analytical guidance related to development of OMB-PRA project determinations and Information Collection Request (ICR) packages.  Review OMB/PRA and ICR package requirements for funding and project activities.  Develop and update guidance documents on OMB/PRA science policy and regulatory activities. Serve as the back-up for research determinations and application of human subjects’ regulations. 

 

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Direct experience managing a federal contract program.  Demonstrated ability to work well independently and supervising a team.  Ability to handle a variety of constituencies with flexibility in work assignments and tasks and having the ability to shift priorities quickly.  Excellent judgment and decision making, with strong analytical skills; business intuition and business acumen.  Detailed oriented and strong organizational Experience with developing quality assurance plans, compliance documentation. Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse set of government and commercial stakeholders on technical contracts.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, teamwork, management, and interpersonal skills.  Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to derive innovative solutions to complex problems.  Strong command of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).  Experience with data management and effective management and utilization of resources.  Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Management, or related discipline. A minimum of 7+ years senior level project management experience, including demonstrated knowledge of principles and concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with executives or senior staff. Strong organizational skills. Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Management, or related discipline. 5+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree.
