Come join us! WellSky is seeking a Project Manager - Implementation to join our HSS team. The Project Manager - Implementation will oversee our client software implementation projects and ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with established goals/objectives, schedules, and budget.  As part of WellSky’s corporate Professional Services organization, the Project Manager will coordinate with external and internal teams to ensure tasks are clearly identified and completed to support overall project success.    

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:

Create project schedules based on defined scope and assigned resourcesProvides communication to the project team by assigning portions of the project schedule, updating on project status, vocalizing potential risks and leading project planning meetingsBuilds a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives that will provide lead generation for future sales and improved project execution on future projects Leads project management tasks in both PM Meetings as well as Executive Steering Committee meetings to ensure Client and WellSky teams stay aligned throughout the entire projectManage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and making revisions as needed to keep overall project on time and on budgetCreate relationships with the Client Project Manager and Project Sponsor which will be instrumental in facilitating change management to ensure long term adoption of the WellSky SolutionOversee the accurate preparation and completion of project financials and reportingLeverage existing methods & procedures to facilitate consistent & repeatable results across the project teamLeads project management tasks in both PM Meetings as well as Executive Steering Committee meetings to ensure Client and WellSky teams stay aligned throughout the entire project

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field4-6 years related work experienceAbility to travel up to 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years experience in software implementation project managementEnterprise EMR/EHR implementation or equivalent experience a plusProcess improvement experience that resulted in quantifiable results Sharepoint and Salesforce Enterprise user experience a plusPMP certified preferredState Client/Government experience highly desiredExcellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office / Microsoft ProjectAbility to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with internal and external clients
