ManTech is currently seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities:

Review risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate resources for the same.

Manage the activities of the project team.

Provide analysis of operational objectives and draft plans to meet objectives.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff.

Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and equipment) to multiple simultaneous requirements.

Provide direction and mentoring to project team members; set the appropriate goals and objectives.

Work with the higher-level program or Project Manager, if applicable, to provide effective and efficient management of the contractor's effort.

Mitigate project risks and issues that occur.

Develops multi-project Work Breakdown structures and Integrated Master Schedules to deconflict allocation of resources.

Provides detailed tracking of requirements satisfaction for reporting to Government customers.

Basic Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required OR 5 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Must have 8 years' experience in managing projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

Must have 6 years demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Security Requirements:

Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Working with Data

Move about freely in a laboratory setting.

Repetitive Motions
