Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will work closely with the client, internal, and external resources.

Running informational meetings and working with construction management and/or site leads is critical to the success of each project.

Responsibilities include customer coordination of the resources needed to achieve design intent, quality and value engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and on-going customer support.

This role manages large corporate restaurant and retail clients.

You will work closely with the client to clearly define goals, objectives and expectations and develop the necessary support and production plan.

Create the project timeline and manage the project with department heads.

Work with client representatives to develop corrective actions.

Develop quality and value-engineering opportunities with the engineering and production departments.

Work closely with materials management, production supervisors, and scheduling to ensure good raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods flow.

Work closely with material management to manage inventory to maximize turns and reduce waste.

Engage with clients to gain more share of their business.

Minimal travel to customer sites in and out of Ohio is required.

Hard Skills3-5 plus years of experience in client-facing project management within the store fixtures, millwork, casework, or building construction industryMinimum of 3 years of management experience in a leadership roleAbility to read architectural drawings for understanding of interior finishes and millwork needsIntermediate level analysis in ExcelGlobal Shop ERP system experience (plus)Bachelor's or Associate's degree (plus)Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in North Canton, Ohio.

Work Environment

Work with customers at different locations and build relationships. Projects average 8-12 weeks (some as short as 6 weeks). Transfer paperwork to quotes. Collaborate with engineers and the production team to determine material arrival times. Fully onsite role with hybrid flexibility for appointments or sickness. Very clean manufacturing floor. The office space resembles a showroom with custom wood paneling, tables, and industrial fixtures. It overlooks the production floor with floor-to-ceiling windows.
