Short Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of the activities needed to accomplish the successful completion of the Cash Flow Model Replacement Project.

 

Complete Description:

Years of Relevant Experience: 5 -7

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and documenting the project activities that require close coordination with the Office of Information Technology resources and the Cash Flow Model (CFM) User community.  These project activities will include, but not be limited to:

 

Creating and maintaining the overall project plan.

Assisting State resources in negotiating, managing and administering required product and services contracts related to the CFM Replacement Project.

Coordinating the activities of and developing consensus across the various NJ State Government groups and vendors that must participate in and deliver work for the Project.

Conducting project meetings and publishing meeting minutes.

Working to resolve or escalate risks and issues as necessary to avoid negative project impact

Creating and maintaining a project risks and issues log.

Creating and maintaining project budgets and related budget materials.

Briefing the Project Steering Committee on project progress, issues, and risks.

Ensuring the proper organization and documentation is in place.  Ensure knowledge transfer is carried out in a manner that positions the appropriate group to assume primary responsibility for the ongoing support of the CFM Systems once they are delivered.
