Our work depends on Project/Task Manager joining our team to interface with Government customer, support staff, and employees. Ensuring deliverables for the contract are carried out. Brief customers on progress throughout the contract. HOW A PROJECT/TASK MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT ● Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises at least 15 employees + Collaborate with Program/Project Managers, Network and Systems Administrators, and Government customers to provide support for multiple projects/tasks. + Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) that incorporate network and systems administration tasks in support of multiple Teams, ensuring that all components align with project timelines and deliverables. + Create and manage resource-loaded project plans that include network and systems resources, enabling accurate performance tracking, cost and funding forecasting, and anticipating staffing and logistics requirements for IT operations. + Identify and track key program milestone events, including contract deliverables, program reviews, integration activities, documentation of project changes and additions, and training requirements for IT personnel. + Assist with project metrics to provide an integrated view of risks associated with network and systems administration, enabling early risk recognition, mitigation, and resolution. + Apply experience in network and systems administration, including knowledge of DoD acquisition milestones, decision points, and staffing processes, to develop project plans that reflect the needs of the contract. + Participate in team huddles, working groups, and other meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes, managing participation, and tracking action items. + Conduct comprehensive and concise Quarterly In-Process Reviews (IPRs) for Government Customers and GDIT leadership, ensuring clear communication of project status, milestones, and any identified risks. + Develop and finalize the Quality Control Plan (QCP) along with other required documentation deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project requirements. + Use project schedules to assess if/when additional resources are needed to complete project work by deadlines as well as the duration additional resources are needed WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: ● Education/Experience: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience ● Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite ● Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI ● Required Skills and Abilities: Deliverables Management, Interpersonal Communication, Organizing Meetings, Project Scheduling, Process Optimization, Task Management ● Preferred Skills: + Experience managing concurrent projects + Flexibly accepting assignments and work independently while seeking guidance as appropriate + Collaborate with colleagues to support all assigned tasks + Monitor project schedule compliance levels, identify gaps, and potential issues + Gather and analyze information to develop regular status reports ● Location: Hybrid ●US Citizenship Required - Yes GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: ● Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home ● 401K with company match ● Comprehensive health and wellness packages ● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career ● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications ● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from ● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $106,375. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
