Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing all activities related to operations of PCI Group and delivering a customer “turnkey” project and software products. The PM is typically active beginning with the review of a customer order together with Manager - Machine Development, Projects, and Applications (Manager-MDPA) and has primary responsibility for managing the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, resources, and budget from start to close

Coordinate and run the project kick-off meeting along with the managerUnderstand and manage the scope of the workDevelop a work breakdown structure for key deliverables within the scope of workDevelop timelines in the form of Gantt Charts and manage activities and deliverables to these timelinesCreate and maintain an issues list and manage the closure of issues in a timely manner Enter and maintain budgeted costs and actual costsWork with Procurement on purchasing activitiesManage sub-contractors to deliverables and timelines accordinglySchedule and attend meetings with the customer to review progress as needed to assure customer satisfactionCoordinate resources, both internal and external, to meet milestonesMaintain project – tracking reportsParticipate in creating proposals and approval meetings as neededExecute the project closure processLead cross functional project team of application engineers, software engineers, algorithm engineers, automation engineers to deliver solutionsBuild/improve project process for 24 hours development and operation with teams in Asia, Europe, and USA.

Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred, equivalent project management work related experience may be consideredMinimum 5 years of Project Management experience in a related industryStrong expertise in software development lifecycle and Agile process, experience in algorithm/machine learning is preferredExperience with Microsoft Project or equivalent Project Management software Able to read and understand engineering drawingsExperience with automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, and medical manufacturing environments, corporate standards, and automation systems used in these target industriesExcellent verbal communication skills and be comfortable presenting technical information to customers and vendors Able to communicate the requirements across different technical and managerial levels at PCI Group and customer site
