Our client is a specialist main contractor involved in large data centres & pharmaceutical construction schemes operating across Europe specialising in delivering large-scale roofing, cladding & façade packages on behalf of Tier-1 main contractors with a turnover of more than €200m and a full order book for the next 2+ years.
The need now exists for an experienced Project Manager to join the team in delivering a large Roofing & Cladding package of works on a data centre project in Helsinki, Finland. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the specified timeline and budget involving managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Work closely with senior management and stakeholders in defining project scope and goals to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources implementing cost-control measures, as necessary.
Provide direction and support to team members, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Identify, monitor, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle addressing any issues promptly, ensuring no/minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
Prepare and present accurate and up-to-date project reports & documentation, including progress status and performance metrics.
Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections and audits ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Ensure Health and Safety at work at all times.
Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.
Extensive experience in Project Management role within specialist subcontractor or a main contractor.
In-depth experience of managing Roofing & Cladding packages.
Proven record of accomplishments of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
Proficiency in project management software & tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
