Short Description:

The Engagement Manager (EM) must have extensive experience in a progressive consulting leadership role. The Manager is responsible for, overseeing, supervising, and coordinating complex multiple projects and programs under the UASI grant.

 

Complete Description:

Deficits in information sharing that has been recently identified at the NJ Regional Operations Intelligence Center (ROIC).  Solutions have also been identified  that will leverage existing hardware and software components procured with prior year HSGP investments.  A Project Manager is needed to oversee the coordination, development and implementation of various IT projects.  The opportunity exists to effectively execute on several projects.

 

•  Migrating the ROIC personnel to a software collaboration  platform accessible by partner agencies in the UASI and across the Intel/ OEM domain.

•  Additional computing software and hardware to enable a timely and relevant production of situational awareness, as well as Intel products for the broader ROIC constituency

•  Tools that will enable rapid staffing of relevant products for the varied customer base, with an emphasis on timely homeland centric alerting

 

 

The project builds on existing assets that were procured and/or built with prior year investments.

•  Expanded use of audio visual platforms and collaboration software and hardware

•  Additional remote capabilities for analysts and managers in the Statewide Intelligence Management arena

•  COOP/COG components that will enable offsite recovery and continuity through hardware and software enhancements

 

Years of Relevant Experience:

5 to 10 years

Preferred Education:

Possession of a Master's degree

Role Description:

Demonstrate analytical, oral and written communications skills.

Engage in ongoing process improvement.

Overseeing the coordination, development, and implementation of ROIC projects goals, policies, and strategic plans; managing the allocation of resources and service levels to ensure that the UASI projects meet grant program guidelines and requirements; overseeing the coordination, development, and implementation of regional information sharing and collaboration project goals, protocols, policies, procedures, and strategic plans; providing recommendations to the ROIC Command Staff regarding any major changes to current practices.

Provide knowledge transfer to ROIC personell.
