Currently, the Navy Aviation Division is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develops and tracks program/project status and schedules with proficiency in Microsoft Project

Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned major portion of a program

Establishes and defines program plan requirements and performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans

Coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans

Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment

Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual and schedule objectives are met

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, business administration, accounting, finance, economics, management information technology, or a related business or management discipline                              

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in program/project  management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, prefer two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting aircraft and/or weapon systems development programs

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with project operations mgmt.  tools/techniques and business case analysis; specific experience with Microsoft Project required.

Experience performing data gathering and analysis; specific experience with creating and maintaining resource loaded schedule.

Experience analyzing program requirements, status, budget, and schedules

Experience collecting, organizing and interpreting technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs.

Excellent written/verbal communication with experience developing briefings for senior and executive managers

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)

Experience briefing and interacting with executive mgmt., senior leadership, etc.

Ability to handle ambiguity, difficult personalities, and changing priorities

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen

Top Secret SCI clearance is required to perform work on this contract

Physical Requirements:

Tasking is primarily computer based.  The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS).
