The Project Manager will oversee and manage the development, maintenance, and evolution of the DDS enterprise transport and application platform. This platform supports real-time AISR (Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) sensor data dissemination for global operations. The role requires coordination across engineering, software, portal services, and various system enhancements to ensure the program adapts to emerging needs and threats. Additionally, the Project Manager will support expanding the program's reach to other locations and integrating new technologies for the U.S. and coalition partners.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
+ Proven experience managing projects involving data dissemination, cloud-based platforms, and real-time data processing for global operations.
+ Experience leading projects that include end-to-end AISR architecture and engineering support.
+ Familiarity with working in environments requiring 24x7 operations support, including the management of Field Service Representatives (FSRs).
+ Strong understanding of DDS (Data Distribution Service) and real-time data transport solutions.
+ Experience with Network architecture, ensuring data security and handling data handling.
+ Expertise in managing the development of load-balanced, globally accessible web portals, particularly for AISR Full Motion Video (FMV) access.
+ Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, transcoding, and translating services.
+ Strong background in RMF (Risk Management Framework) accreditation processes.
+ Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions for sharing data with mission partners.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and technical staff.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage risk, assess threats, and implement mitigation strategies in large-scale projects.
+ Experience managing geographically distributed teams and projects, with a focus on global operational support.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with government stakeholders, coalition partners, and team members effectively.
+ Ability to translate complex technical requirements and solutions into clear, actionable project plans and objectives.
+ Collaborative mindset to work with SMEs and technical teams on engineering and software portal services.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
+ 7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, preferably within the defense or intelligence sector.
+ PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
+ Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant security certifications are a plus.
+ Top Secret Clearance
