The Project Manager will manage large customer projects for the greater Vancouver territory.
This position will serve as the complete handoff from Sales to Operations on contract and installation projects.

You will oversee all aspects of all projects and be responsible to deliver the projects on time, per scope and within budget.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
Serve as the main point of contact for the customer to ensure we are providing the best possible customer service. Manage relationship between customer and branch office. Provide clear communications between customer and all involved departments. Attend coordination meetings & trainings as required by customer. Schedule and attend pre-con job site meetings to conduct layouts, opening preps, coordination with other trades, etc. Meet with customers to clarify specific job site requirements. Assist in the technical feasibility of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders. Provide Take Offs & be able to provide other project related details for Sales/Estimator. Field measure, prepare and submit order to factory and related vendors for all parts, materials and supplies required for a complete installation. Track all ordered materials; Coordinate with IC to ensure correctness and receipt. Prepare installation documentations and job-specific instructions for installers. Oversee field operations, safety, quality and completion of work and required documentation. Pre-Installation Job Site Readiness Checks to ensure project following schedule. Work with IC to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Coordinate with IC and branch office to document changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints. Give guidance when needed to techs for special site conditions, protocols, etc. Use and continually develop leadership skills. Provide assistance to customer in obtaining close out docs & signatures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor degree in business management or related field. Project Management Certification in the construction industry. Previous experience and job performance may be considered in lieu of the others. Five plus years of progressively increasing responsibility in a Supervisory or Managerial position. Extensive knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, and/or the Construction Industry. Must have excellent communication skills—both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization. Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to reason effectively. Be experienced in the use of technology to optimize performance operationally. Blue Beam / CAD experience a plus. Will need to be OHSA 30 certified prior to or after start date.
