EdPlus is seeking a highly-motivated and energetic Project Manager. The successful candidate will thrive in fast paced, continuously changing environments and will possess the right mix of operational excellence, people skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The candidate will take initiative, demonstrate a sense of urgency, use good organizational skills, manage project teams, and follow through on commitments to achieve high-quality, repeatable results.

This position will manage projects across multiple teams, both internal and external. The responsibilities are broad in scope, encompassing a wide variety of activities requiring continuous shifts in priorities.

Essential Duties

Plans, develops, implements, and manages a project team through complete task definitions and work requirement identification and assignments Works closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders, leadership and other related staff to define and document  project objectives and scope, strategy, schedule, procedures, and outcomes during the various phases of the project life cycle Prepares and maintains all project status reports and schedules; tracks milestones/deliverables, critical paths and dependencies; resets expectations as-needed in consideration of project progress/outcomesBuilds, develops, and maintains collaborative working relationships across the university, third-party vendors, and external clients vital to project success, including managing differing priorities and resolving conflictEstablishes and continually monitors/manages project expectations with team; assigns tasks and identifies issues for resolution to ensure optimal team effectiveness Identifies critical resource expertise and targets appropriate internal and/or external sources to ensure optimal outcome(s)Reviews and ensures that project specifications comply with existing codes and applicable University, state and local requirementsAssumes, coordinates, and/or manages other duties or projects as assigned or directed to successfully deliver projectsDemonstrates ability to use diplomacy, tact, and social competency to facilitate meetings and create consensus under challenging situationsClarifies to ensure understanding of expectations and timelineAssumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directedMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience; 1 of which are in project management, or any equivalent combination of experience and /or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Desired QualificationsEvidence of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related fieldExperience managing projects in a higher education environmentExperience in project management. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.Experience in Jira and/or Airtable is a plus. Experience working with executive level stakeholders and/or project teamsExperience in client-facing, service-oriented rolesDemonstrated strong attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability, complex problem solving skills, ability to deliver under tight deadlines; advanced multitasking, organizational, time management skillsAbility to manage complex and undefined projectsEvidence of a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.ASU offers a total compensation package that includes valuable employee benefits. EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education, and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.

Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate verbally in English, read, write, see, and hear to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.

EdPlus at ASU supports flexible work options, ranging from alternate work schedules to hybrid remote work schedules, subject to approvals per ASU policy. (This is not a fully remote position.)
