Project Manager
Manages Operations and Maintenance (O&M), repair, minor construction and sustainment contract for the United States Naval Academy. Responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, positive employee engagement, while ensuring timely, safe and profitable contract performance.
· Responsible for effectively managing and leading a team of union contract employees comprised of various Tradespersons, Administrators and Supervisors to deliver contractual requirements.
· Responsible for developing work schedules for employees while maintaining compliance with current and future collective bargaining agreements.
· Responsible for various Human Resource duties to include but not limited to payroll, hiring, terminations, employee recognition and discipline, performance reviews, conflict resolution, etc.
· Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all required Government and Company training, certifications and personnel development.
· Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all required Government and Company reports/deliverables.
· Responsible for negotiation and coordination of all required subcontractor and vendor services while ensuring compliance with scope of work, safety, environmental and quality control.
· Responsible for ensuring procurement of all parts, supplies and materials required for contractual compliance and operational fulfillment while meeting company and government small business utilization requirements.
· Responsible for effective inventory management and control of Government and Company furnished parts, tools, keys, uniforms, equipment and furnishings.
· Responsible for budgetary control by monitoring expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to allocated funds.
