The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of multiple medium to moderately complex projects from initiation to completion. This role involves tracking progress against milestones, timelines, budgetary guidelines, resources, and other performance indicators as identified while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with organizational goals. Prepares and delivers reports to leadership. This is a more junior level Project Manager.
Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans with project sponsor outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, budget and potential cost-savings.Identify, prepare, and coordinate all necessary documentation or decks for meetings.Lead project meetings and disseminate appropriate follow-up materials to project members.Maintain comprehensive and detailed project documentation including action items, status and final deliverables.Conduct proactive audits of action items and follow-up with leaders as needed to ensure project progress.Direct cross-functional team resources, manage conflict, and escalate problems to leadership as needed.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and milestone achievements. Maintain EPMO documentation related to transformational initiatives, including current and future initiative lists, presentation decks, project trackers and project notes.Perform quality assessment throughout project lifecycle and implement lessons learned and optimize processes as applicable.Execute and lead the following project functions: Planning, scheduling, scoping, forecasting, tracking, reporting and budgeting.Utilize standard PM tools such as Gantt charts and templates.Effectively manage your time and expectations across multiple projects while assisting others involved in the project execution process.All other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years project management experience (*This is a more junior level role*)Project management experience in healthcare preferredProject Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferredSix Sigma Black Belt certification preferredExperience working with and presenting deliverables to an Executive level leadership teamAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and a commitment to qualityThorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and toolsProven abilities in problem management, process analysis and root cause analysisSolution-oriented approachExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build collaborative relationships while working in a moderately complex and matrixed team environmentAbility to facilitate discussions and hold team members accountable without having positional authorityAbility to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlinesExperience developing simple financial models using ExcelProficiency in MS Office Suite with the ability to perform data analysis and management within Excel and PowerPoint. Experience and proficiency with various project management software toolsPossess quality presentation skills and experience in presenting complex plans and designs to executive-level leadershipBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field
