In this role you will be joining the Client Enablement Team (CET), with its head office based in Melbourne, Victoria and will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Enablement – Professional Services.
Employed as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the organisation from the initial kickoff through to completion. In this role, you will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to the project’s key objectives and success criteria.
About the job
As a Project Manager, you will look after the successful delivery of a broad range of consulting and implementation services, with our clients throughout the Asia Pacific Region, with the potential for some interstate client visits. These services will generally center on our Enterprise Asset Management solutions, with the capacity to manage solutions and services in relation to managing assets with our product suite.
Key Responsibility Areas
• Manages client consultations, implementations, and migration process of Brightly’s suite of software products and services deployed throughout the Asia Pacific region.• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery, including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.• Organises cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project - i.e., on schedule, within budget constraints, and to client’s satisfaction.• Support, maintain and improve the business’ Project Management and Service Delivery methodology.• Becomes a 'trusted advisor' to client and leads project status reviews with all stakeholders.• Manages timely client (acceptance) signoffs and identifies opportunities to expand software products and services.• Provides Project Management guidance/mentorship for all Consultants.• Provides relevant departments with feedback on amendments to designated products based on client-consultant discussions or training sessions.• Maintains awareness of Brightly’s activities, specifically relating to the development of designated products; and business areas where they are used to provide appropriate feedback/recommendations.• Responds to requests to undertake additional activities that relate to the provision of Consultancy or to the Brightly’s wider activities.• May be a requirement to maintain on-going relationships with Brightly’s top tier clients, ensuring continued client success with regards to our software and services.• The position will require some interstate and regional travel.
Specialist Skills/Knowledge/Competencies
Skills & Experience• Graduate and/or Post Graduate Qualifications in Project Management and/or similar related field.• Experienced Project Manager within a consulting and/or software services business.• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management solutions, particularly in relation to infrastructure asset management, would be advantageous.• Prince2 or PMI (PMP) certification is highly desirable.• Experience in both agile and waterfall approaches.• Strong project scoping and statement of work documentation skills.• Knowledge and experience of all major project components including Governance, Stakeholder Management (from Board level to End Users), Design, Configuration, Data Migration, Testing and Training Strategies.• Ability to manage client expectations and steer client towards opportunities that deliver best "win-win" outcomes for both Brightly and the client.• Sound experience and knowledge of Microsoft Projects or similar Project Management applications.• Experience in industries such as Local Government, Transport, Housing, Water or Rail would be highly desirable.
