Key responsibilities
Under the Chief Transformation Officer, the department Organizational Management Travel is in charge of driving global IT projects across the Travel Line of Business (Airlines, Bank, Hotel, Lodging, Car Rental) . They act as the main interface between Business Units globally and IT providers.
Based in the headquarters of Paris (Saint-Ouen) and Munich, the team is responsible for the prioritization of IT investments and fostering harmonization of processes, through the implementation of the group target platforms. In this perspective, the team needs to ensure a certain balance between simplifications / standardization of tools & processes and specific local business needs.
Ultimately, the Project Manager orchestrates the initiation, design, planning & implementation of IT solution. He/she ensures it answers the needs and specificities of its client (internal or external) while maintaining a high level of harmonization and consistency throughout the Group.
Through this role, you will focus mainly on below activities:
Ensure the delivery of IT-related projects within timeline, agreed scope and budget.
Support the Travel line of business in realizing the expected benefits of projects.
Mobilize the appropriate stakeholders to deliver the projects.
Provide clarity on project progress, risks, mitigation plans, budget and scope.
Coordinate with local Business Units to make sure the operational impacts of projects are known, prepared and executed if necessary.
What you bring
3/5 years of experience in Project management, PMO and/or a consultancy role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Planning monitoring, Risk management & mitigation.
Proven organizational, and value driven mindset skills, with high problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to inspire and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization with diverse & different cultures across the globe.
Knowledge of Agile software development tools and methodologies, and excellent skills in Jira, PPT and Excel.
Master’s degree in information technology or Business administration or an equivalent degree
Fluent in English. French or German is a plus.
