Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead all stages of projects from initiation through the realization phase, following the Stage Gate process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-disciplined project teams to complete projects on time, on budget, and meeting all requirements. This includes developing project goals, finalizing scope and budget, creating project plans, and ensuring project alignment with global programs.
ResponsibilitiesLead multi-disciplined project teams to complete projects on time, on budget, and meeting all requirements (quality, cost, schedule, scope).Execute projects and manage all aspects including developing project goals and business objectives, finalizing scope and budget, creating project plans, negotiating staffing with Line of Business, monitoring and controlling project work, managing project data, reporting performance, seeking approvals from the steering group, managing project procurement, delivery/installation, commissioning, qualification, change control, and team, and closing and evaluating projects.Ensure all facets of the program lifecycle align with expectations set forth by the Steering Group and/or project owner.Monitor and report project progress.Consider project staffing plans needed to support projects and assemble the project team, managing tasks and time closely for external staff.Maintain financial project accountability through purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and budget forecasting.Ensure alignment with global programs and other site projects to actively share best practices, knowledge, and visions.Assist with any training required for personnel supporting the project.Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.Essential SkillsProven experience in project management, specifically in utility systems and lab/production equipment within a pharmaceutical environment.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and team assembly skills.Competence in financial project management including purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and budget forecasting.Ability to provide regular status updates and effectively communicate project progress.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in managing projects related to facility systems such as clean and black utility generation and distribution equipment, utility control and monitoring systems, power generation and monitoring systems, and HVAC equipment and systems for controlled and uncontrolled spaces.Experience in managing lab equipment and instrumentation, and pharmaceutical production equipment.Ability to complete deliverables with minimal guidance after the onboarding/training period.Work Environment
The work environment is primarily on-site within a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, with a minimum requirement of working on-site four days per week. There may be a need to work on-site five days, as well as evenings and/or weekends, particularly during larger projects and plant shutdowns. There is some potential for hybrid work. The selected resources are expected to commit to two years of work within the PS AM CL PMO group.
