Description We are on the hunt for a Project Manager in the education industry, specifically in the trades sector. This role is based in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with managing and developing staff and instructor learning and development programs that align with strategic goals. You will also be heavily involved in the administration of learning technologies and systems.
Responsibilities
• Lead the creation and execution of learning and development programs for staff and instructors that align with strategic objectives.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and gap analyses to identify current and future learning requirements.
• Design and create engaging and effective learning solutions, including e-learning, instructor-led, blended, and experiential learning.
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to provide quality learning services and products.
• Deliver learning programs and workshops to staff and instructors as needed.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives using various methods and tools.
• Oversee processes and standards related to instructor credentialing and faculty quality assurance.
• Manage tuition assistance programs and ensure alignment with learning and development goals.
• Administer the performance system, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Supervise assigned staff and manage personnel actions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain a communication strategy for learning opportunities available for employees.
• Serve as the system administrator for performance, goal development, and online learning management systems, providing technical support and guidance to users. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management role within the education or trade industry.
• Proven expertise in devising and implementing learning and development strategies.
• Experience in using Learning Management Systems for the delivery of educational programs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
• Experience in coordinating events, with a focus on educational or training events.
• Knowledge of various online portals and their effective use in project management and communication.
• Familiarity with Department SOP's and ability to implement and adhere to them.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline or similar eLearning authoring tools.
