Job Description

The Project Manager will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external resources to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role involves running informational meetings, collaborating with construction management, and site leads to achieve project goals. Responsibilities include managing customer coordination, overseeing design and quality, value engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and providing ongoing customer support.

ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the client to clearly define goals, objectives, and expectations and develop the necessary support and production plan.Create the project timeline and manage the project with department heads.Monitor prototype development and production from physical products, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.Collaborate with client representatives to develop corrective actions as needed.Develop quality and value-engineering opportunities with the engineering and production departments.Coordinate with materials management, production supervisors, and scheduling to ensure smooth flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Develop cost and pricing estimates.Manage inventory to maximize turns and reduce waste.Work with subcontract resources, visiting locations, and conducting quality checks as necessary.Engage with clients to expand business opportunities.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in client-facing project management within the store fixtures, millwork, casework, or building construction industry.Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a leadership role.Ability to read architectural drawings for understanding interior finishes and millwork needs.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including intermediate-level analysis in Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Global Shop ERP system.Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction, Architecture, Millwork, Woodworking, or Fixture Design.Experience managing finishing construction rather than the shell of a building.Experience with construction materials, wall systems, and finish fixtures for commercial millwork.Experience with store fixtures and cabinetry for retail and restaurant environments.Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role with occasional hybrid flexibility for appointments or illness. The work involves managing 8-12 week long projects, with some projects as short as 6 weeks. The Project Manager will work with customers at various locations, transferring paperwork to quotes, and collaborating with engineers and the production team to determine material arrival times. The office space is modern and well-designed, featuring custom wood paneling, tables, and industrial fixtures, overlooking the production floor with floor-to-ceiling windows.
