Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to experience driving technical excellence in the areas of program execution. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to work with our existing customers and new customers clients, supporting our customer’s 5G cross-functional team (CFT). The successful Project Manager will need interpersonal skills, a sense of initiative, and solid communications skills to manage the contractor team and help navigate DoD staff office requests and policy/procedure related to CFT operations as part of the DoD’s broader initiative to bring 5G capability to the Department.
Lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams to achieve program objectives on time and budget. Be the key interface to our customers and the executive team to provide reports and status on projects. Ensure program milestones are achieved and program risk is managed.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage a multi-disciplinary team, including multiple subcontractors
Lead the team and ensure the production and delivery of a wide array of contract deliverables.
Manage cost, schedule, and performance for a diverse set of tasks being performed by staff from multiple technical and non-technical disciplines
Work closely with the Government customers to maintain and grow our business
Communicate project status to customers and the leadership team.
Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and partners to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
Interact routinely with Operating Group leads, functional managers, technical staff, and customers.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
B.S. degree or equivalent experience
10+ years related work experience with previous project management experience on similar or related projects and broad general technical and business background
Demonstrated leadership and successful execution of small multi-disciplinary technical teams and projects
Experience writing technical whitepapers or proposals
Current Top Secret Security Clearance or above required
US Citizenship is required
