The Project Manager will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external resources to ensure the successful completion of projects. The role involves running informational meetings, working with construction management or site leads, and managing large corporate restaurant and retail clients. This position requires effective coordination of resources to achieve design intent, quality, value engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and ongoing customer support.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with clients to define goals, objectives, and expectations.Develop necessary support and production plans.Create project timelines and manage projects with department heads.Monitor prototype development and production from physical products, on-time delivery, and budgetary standpoints.Work with client representatives to develop corrective actions.Develop quality and value-engineering opportunities with engineering and production departments.Coordinate with materials management, production supervisors, and scheduling to ensure good raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods flow.Develop cost and pricing estimates.Manage inventory to maximize turns and reduce waste.Work with subcontract resources, visiting locations and conducting quality checks as necessary.Engage with clients to gain more business.Required Skills2+ years of experience in client-facing project management within the store fixtures, millwork, casework, or building construction industry.Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a leadership role.Ability to read architectural drawings and understand interior finishes and millwork needs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate-level analysis in Excel.
