Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role involves leading the efforts tied to the expansion of producing a fully electric vehicle with a target launch date of January 2026. You will manage contract groups and oversee the development of a new facility for battery assembly and storage. This position requires close collaboration with various internal and external groups to ensure project success.
ResponsibilitiesLead planning for Major/Minor Model and CapEx Projects (50%).Develop PFS and schedules, highlighting required milestones, reporting project status, and escalating concerns (30%).Develop new technologies and vendor base for Production Engineering to improve process efficiencies and reduce costs (10%).Benchmark other NAMCs to achieve higher quality, cost reduction, and CO2 reduction (10%).Build and maintain close relationships with internal and external groups, including TMNA ACT 1 Paint Engineering Project Leaders, NAMC’s Pilot team, Logistics, Maintenance, Internal Logistics Engineering regional team, PEPD, and others.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Controls Engineering, or equivalent Engineering experience of 3+ years.Proficiency in AutoCAD 2012 or above for 2D.High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and some proficiency in other Microsoft Office systems (PowerBI, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).Experience coordinating equipment installations with multiple contractors.Passion for working in a manufacturing hands-on environment to gather data, perform process analysis, and support new model and automation project team activities.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing/technical environment in an engineering role.Experience working for Our Client or a supplier.Experience with Automotive Paint Process (OEM).Some experience with 3D Modeling (Catia, XVL, Solidworks, Inventor).Experience with project management in an engineering role.Work Environment
This position is onsite at TMMI with no travel required.
