Project Manager
This is an on-site position at our Rancho Belago CA location. Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field is required. Project Management certification (PMP) is highly desired.
The Project Manager will provide engineering & integration project management for a portfolio of warehouse automation, expansion, and process improvement projects for our DCs across the globe. The projects will range in size, scope, and complexity as well as type. Project types include but are not limited to process improvement/development that may or may not involve software support, equipment procurement, building infrastructure (construction), and integrated material handling systems. The project manager will work closely with global, cross-functional team members to deliver the projects on time and within budget while meeting the project objectives.

2+ years of project management experience in managing distribution center or fulfillment center CAPEX projects that include automation is required. Each project totaling over $1M in spend budget highly preferred.2+ years of distribution center or fulfillment center experience that involves working with WMS, WES/WCS, and automation equipment on a daily biases is required.Have a firm technical understanding of the projects and the systems they integrate with and provide overall project integration between internal resources and contractors.Develop project execution documents as needed for the project, including but not limited to project charters, RACI matrices, and risk management plans.Prepare and update project budgets, which will include a cash flow forecast, at least monthly, to support reporting requirements.Prepare project schedules to serve as a means of tracking progress; baseline and adjust as required.Manage projects to the scope of work and vet and seek approval for project change orders in a timely manner.For each project, work with Engineering Department management to determine the members of each project team and their roles.Regularly evaluate project resources to ensure they can deliver what is asked of them, on schedule and raise any resource sufficiency concerns with management.Coordinate project meetings and attend meetings organized by others.Organize and participate in systems/subsystems specifications review, defining and conducting testing, and issues resolution.Perform field verifications/site walks to check plans, solve issues, and generate punch lists.Keep the project team motivated to deliver the project on schedule and at or above end user and management expectations.Participate in process development and improvement initiatives and help identify any new projects that might be needed to support these initiatives.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Project—advanced knowledge of Excel is desired, including use of pivot tables and writing formulas.Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAttention to detail.Able to prioritize workload.Able to work collaboratively within a team environment and build consensus.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Able to work with minimal oversight and ability to ensure that all tasks are completed correctly, timely and in line with established guidelines and business needs.Able to travel up to 25% of the time, including traveling internationally.Ability to follow the directives of supervisor.Must be able to accept constructive criticism when necessary.Must have the willingness and desire to learn.Detail oriented.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must possess strong organizational skills.Must have a positive attitude as well as service oriented.Must always work safe and professionally.Ability to work as a team member.Follow all department OSHA Compliant and safety policies & procedures.Ability to contribute hands onAble to work with minimal oversight and ability to ensure that all tasks are completed correctly, timely and in line with established guidelines and business needs.Able to travel up to 25% of the time, including traveling internationally.

Pay range is $100,000-$150,000
