Project Manager
**Purpose and Scope:** Act as a key player in mission enhancement/sustainment projects by tracking requirements from cradle to grave; by developing the requirements to following through to the end of the project and then ensuring scheduled Preventive Maintenance occurs at the appropriate times and frequencies. Complete DD Form 1391s and project programming duties for infrastructure projects including consolidating BUILDER corrective actions plans into executable projects. **Essential Responsibilities:** + Provide engineering knowledge, support and advisement to the maintenance shops, through research, field experience, and data collection to provide long term and innovative corrective plans and processes as needed. + Provide in-house engineering design & design review for minor construction projects and maintenance work. Ensures development and adherence to the project Work Breakdown Structure, Asset Management, and Workflow Management elements. + Establish, develop, coordinate, program, perform project manager duties on electrically based projects from cradle to grave, monitor status via SMS system and though the Requirements & Optimization section. + Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. **Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:** + Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a degree preferred. + Minimum three (3) years relative experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is recommended + Interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. + Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications is required. + Must be proficient in AutoCAD. + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. + Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. **Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:** Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. OCONUS: Some positions will be assigned to overseas locations where living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous/harsh conditions **Other Responsibilities:** Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
