What You Will Do

A Professional Services Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders to deliver solutions and services that meet the specific needs of the client.

Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timing. Monitor project progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure timely completion.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and all project stakeholders. Effectively communicate project expectations, status updates, and potential risks to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Resource Management: Allocate project resources appropriately and ensure they are available and utilized effectively. Manage the operational aspects of projects, including personnel, finances, and technology.

Quality and Risk Management: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Identify, analyze, and respond to risks and issues, implementing corrective measures as necessary.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Provide feedback and performance reviews as needed to promote development.

Continuous Improvement: Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, related field or comparable experience.

Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus).

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.

About Your Location

Under a flexible work arrangement (hybrid), this resource primarily supports the Transportaion Sector and works collaboratively across thteams.

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time worked in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
