The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day management and execution of the QAWeb application sustainment effort, ensuring the project meets all technical, schedule, and quality objectives. The Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact with VA stakeholders and will drive the implementation of Agile and Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP)-centric practices.
Responsibilities Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.Act as the primary liaison between the team and VA stakeholders, ensuring alignment with VA requirements.Develop and maintain the Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP).Manage the schedule and scope, mitigating risks to prevent delays or disruptions.Oversee the preparation and submission of bi-weekly status reports and other deliverables.Facilitate technical kickoff meetings, IPTs, and CCB meetings, ensuring stakeholder alignment.Coordinate and track compliance with VA Privacy and Information Security Awareness training.Ensure all technical solutions comply with VA policies and standards, including Section 508 compliance.Lead integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of software releases.Manage SharePoint repositories and maintain clear, accurate project documentation. Required Experience/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing federal IT projects.Demonstrated success managing Agile-based projects, particularly in the VA environment.Experience with VIP and PLM frameworks.Familiarity with tools like Jira, OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.Expertise in risk management and problem-solving.Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.).
