Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will be responsible for estimating, cost control, forecasting and scheduling multiple projects through final project completion. They are responsible for managing staff, delegating tasks to team members, monitoring resources and overseeing the full scope of electrical testing/maintenance projects.
Responsibilities Perform QA/QC of test sheets/reportsHelp develop work plans for projectsCustomer liaison for EPSAssist in the safety roleDevelop general scheduling of projectsWork with Sales Managers to improve and direct conversations with customers on each project.Review quotes for accuracyCommunicate and Coordinate with customer scheduling, conflicts and concerns, reports, out of scope issues, change orders, and/or status.Coordinate and verify testing and safety procedures are being adhered to by office engineers and techniciansDetermine any additional change orders needed and arrange such with the sales managers or operation manager to provide information and time to submit for customer approval.Help source and provide personnel, equipment, and materials to meet project scheduleMentor new employeesQualifications 5+ years' experience in Project Management or field experience in a testing environmentStrong background in the electric utility industryExperience leading both greenfield and brownfield substation work with a teamAble to multi-task and assist operations even while working in the field as neededExceptional organizational skillsExcellent management and supervisory skillsStrong written and oral communication skills.NETA certification a plus
