Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional product development projects involving hardware, software, firmware, and cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while managing resources and stakeholders across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tProject Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle from concept to deployment, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
•\tCross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with hardware, firmware, desktop software, mobile app product, and web teams to integrate hardware and cloud components into a cohesive product.
•\tResource Management: Allocate internal and external resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met, including managing team workload and resolving conflicts.
•\tTimeline and Budget Management: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects stay on track and within financial limits. Manage task lists and milestones using Teamwork software.
•\tStakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and changes in scope.
•\tRisk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that could impact project outcomes.
•\tQuality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the quality standards and specifications set by the organization.
•\tDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.
•\tContinuous Improvement: Analyze project performance to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in project management.
Qualifications:
•\tEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
•\tExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on hardware, software, firmware, and cloud-based product development projects.
•\tCertifications: PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
•\tTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hardware development processes, software development lifecycle (SDLC), firmware integration, and cloud computing.
•\tSkills:
o\tExcellent leadership and team management skills.
o\tStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o\tProficient in project management tools such as Teamwork, Zenhub, GitHub or similar.
o\tEffective communication and interpersonal skills.
o\tAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
•\tExperience with Stage-Gate, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
•\tBackground in a technology-driven industry, such as instrumentation, IoT, consumer electronics, or telecommunications.
•\tExperience with managing remote teams
•\tExperience in developing products for use in hazardous locations such as oil and gas
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00
