THE ROLE: Project Manager

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for delivering technology projects on time and on budget with a focus on delivering excellence by demonstrating leadership, strong client and team trust, solid project management core skills, and the ability to handle all the administrative aspects of a project.  In addition to client-focused project delivery, Project Managers have the opportunity to support the service group through involvement in process improvement activities.

Travel Requirements:

This position is remote but could require up to 10% travel for company meetings and client site visits.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead multiple projects of varying size, scope and duration ​Establish strong client relations and manage interaction and expectations throughout the life of the project Create detailed project plans, status reports and manage issues, risks and actions Manage communication, scope, and mitigates risk across projects Manage Project budget and billing Partner across functional teams to deliver the best possible solution for a client Lead client-facing meetings regularly during key phases of the project Continually seek and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships Service as the escalation point person for the customer, delivery and other associated Presidio teams and vendor partners

Required Skills: 

Previous experience with IT / Technical Implementation projects and having customer facing experiences or equivalent experiences in an IT organization Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and successfully drive projects to meet defined budgets and timelines Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ​Experience managing project financials and scheduling internal resources Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Additional Desired Skills:  

Ability to create and Manage Project Schedules ​Familiarity with Project Scheduling tools PMP certification highly desired

Education and Experience:  

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience 3-5 years' experience as a hands-on Project Manager managing technical cloud, security, networking and modern data center infrastructure projects and having customer facing experiences or equivalent experience in an IT organization
