Complete Description:
Determine and develop a compensation management system which will provide detailed information for contract negotiations. This will replace a COBOL, Excel, VSAM and mainframe sequential file process. It must be resolved which would be the best technical solution. The current strategy calls for using Oracle, COBOL, APEX and Excel. The base data comes from a legacy custom system.There are anomalies in the data which will have to be addressed. Therefore a discovery process will be part of the project. This solution needs to be evaluated with a determination made whether there is technology being overlooked which will contribute to a alternative solution. The remainder of the project will be the implementation of the solution. A manager with STRONG HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP SKILLS is required.
