Project Manager Lead
Program Managers are capable leaders of cross-functional teams in a high-pressure, dynamic and global environment leveraging expert skills in motivating, facilitating, influencing and driving great results through teams. Experience providing leadership in most aspects of program and project management in an Information Technology environment. Experience leading and delivering successful large scale IT solutions throughout the full project life cycle. Demonstrated extensive depth and breadth of IT program management experience in multiple functional areas as defined below
Program Managers lead delivery of complex initiatives managing governance structure; helping develop business case; managing integrated scope, schedule, budget, quality; and overseeing work of project teams.
Ensure adherence to integrated plans and schedules. Ensure delivery of new and improved business capabilities on time, within budget and with high quality.
Monitor and manage the critical path, contingencies, scope changes and budget (both labor and non-labor resources).
Identify and manage program risks, serve as escalation to resolve program issues, help remove roadblocks.
Expected to bring business acumen to bear in recommending trade-offs between competing priorities, influencing delivery planning.
Also expected to contribute to continuous improvement of delivery management practices and processes.
This service will be related to Data Center and Network Infrastructure.
PMP
Qualifications
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the Financial Industry and at least 10 years of experience managing large scale IT infrastructure development and implementation projects.
Must demonstrate a solid understanding of technical data center infrastructure concepts including data center network, compute, server, storage, and shared services (monitoring, DNS, DHCP, AD, etc)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to transfer information easily to stakeholders.
Excellent ability to negotiate and influence with senior stakeholders.
Project Manager
Project Manager services include the management of complex, high value IT delivery projects that require the coordination of development work or technology work on multiple platforms to achieve desired functionality. Typically, the PM will lead a matrixed team and once the project is complete, the PM will move to another project that will have a different team mixture.
Proven and substantial experience leading complex IT development or IT technology projects (typically 6+ years).
A thorough knowledge of IT data center infrastructure.
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Project
Strong soft skills that include: a) Strong written and oral communications b) Ability to lead a team to desired outcome c) Experienced interacting with both senior leaders as well as peers d) Ability to identify and negotiate solutions to address project challenges e) Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus f) Able to handle ambiguity in the project without losing focus g) Able to perform with minimal direction
Familiarity with Clarity or similar project portfolio management tool.
Significant understanding of technical environment.
Proven ability to lead large/complex matrixed team from many different internal groups and different locations and drive results through task coordination, handoffs and overall delivery of solution.
