Short Description:

 

Project Manager directs, controls, administers, and regulates an enhancement or development program. PM is the individual ultimately responsible to the agency. The PM’s primary responsibility is to drive the entire effort from start to finish.

 

Complete Description:

Years of Relevant Experience: 5 -7

 

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study

 

Role Description:

All roles specified plus:

Prepares error-free documents and presentations

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Must be highly organized and self motivated

Must have the ability to guide and facilitate large group meetings

Prior experience writing State RFP's is highly recommended.

Accountable for the approval and sign-off of the RFP with agency representatives.

Accountable for management of scope for the program and gaining agreement and approval of scope changes with agency representatives.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and agency representatives.

Manage and track progress against the program plan.

Serve as the primary point of contact for any matters concerning RFP.

Coordinate and present requirements document to agencies.

Identify and manage agency processes and define common end results (one way of doing business).

Responsible for project compliance with standards and procedures as defined by the OIT Project Management Office.

Responsible for the capture and recording of system requirements.

Accountable for the final RFP evaluation and review.

Communicate effectively with agency personnel.

Identify, track and address issues.
