Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

Responsible for the contract management and successful implementation of multiple projects for multiple owners. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related items, maintaining professional verbal and written communication with owner representatives. The role involves managing project teams, ensuring project performance aligns with contractual requirements, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful implementation and contract management.Communicate professionally with owner representatives regarding all contract-related items.Coordinate with the project team on contractual requirements, scope of work, change orders, budgets, plans of action, initial project schedule, current project performance, and as-built project performance.Submit required paperwork to the management team on time.Serve as the Owner's primary point of contact for all contract-related items, maintaining positive communication with owner representatives.Ensure completion of projects on time and within budget.Oversee initial project setup and closing.Perform project buyout and budgeting for all cost categories, including creating purchase orders, negotiating and writing subcontracts, and providing cost-coded budgets to accounting.Ensure project accounting is updated throughout the project life-cycle and document deviations.Complete project closeout paperwork and document post-mortem analysis of project performance, including as-built documentation.Essential SkillsEnvironmental engineeringConstruction managementEnvironmental health and safety (EHS)TroubleshootingProject budgetingProject schedulingProject managementEnvironmental complianceAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related fieldMinimum of 4 years construction experience (environmental construction highly preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera for schedulingAbility to respond to constantly changing priorities, reorganizing and completing tasks efficientlyField construction experience or a skilled trades experience is highly desiredExperience in environmental or storm water construction is highly desiredWork Environment

The primary reporting location is in Gambrills, with travel required to work sites. The work environment includes a typical office atmosphere with no cubicles, as well as exposure to various weather conditions and potentially noisy or dirty destinations. Extended periods of walking on various terrains may be required. The role offers a hybrid working model, providing a balanced work-life opportunity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $46.00
