**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Service Proposals and Business Development:**
2. Develop detailed service proposals, including scope, timelines, cost estimations, and deliverables for clients.
3. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify new business opportunities and support the sales process.
4. Actively contribute to the acquisition of new clients and expanding relationships with existing customers.
5. **Project Management:**
6. Lead and manage all aspects of metal cleaning projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
7. Coordinate with internal teams (operations, engineering, logistics) to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
8. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
9. **P&L Management:**
10. Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the Metal Cleaning Division, including tracking revenue, costs, and margins.
11. Monitor the financial health of projects and ensure profitability by managing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving efficient operations.
12. Provide regular financial performance reports to senior leadership and recommend actions for improvement.
13. **Client Relationship Management:**
14. Foster and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
15. Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, resolve issues, and provide updates on project progress.
16. Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding project scope, changes, and service performance.
17. **Team Leadership and Collaboration:**
18. Lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
19. Manage the allocation of resources across projects, ensuring that the team is equipped and trained to meet client needs.
20. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the division, promoting operational efficiency and innovation.
21. **Compliance and Safety:**
22. Ensure that all metal cleaning processes and services comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
23. Monitor safety performance and implement safety protocols across projects.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ **Experience:**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the industrial, manufacturing, or metal cleaning sectors.
+ Proven experience managing P&L, service proposals, and client relationships.
+ Strong understanding of metal cleaning processes, equipment, and industry best practices is a plus.
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
+ Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.
+ Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals and organizational objectives.
+ Detail-oriented, with a strong problem-solving mindset and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Knowledge of environmental and regulatory requirements specific to metal cleaning and industrial processes.
+ PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
