Project Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

What you'll be responsible for:

Providing overall management of detailed and complex construction projects.Being accountable for all aspects of a project's success from the initial preconstruction planning and procurement to final completion.Supporting other functional project teams in planning and executing the job, including resolving issues, managing resources, project coordination, and interfacing with client representatives regarding the project's progress.Setting up projects timely.Reviewing specifications, including contracts and drawings, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.Managing overall project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, innovation, cost, and customer satisfaction), coordinating site-specific project management or coaching during the initiation and planning phases.Serving as a single point of contact, establishing, maintaining, and managing customer expectations regarding project performance.Reporting project status and performance data as required to executive management.Ensuring compliance with the company's in-house Project Management and Safety Standards.Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and continuously working towards successful project completion.Managing onsite vendors and subcontractors to ensure the level of performance is within scope.Maintaining and completing accurate and consistent submittal logs.Providing updates, schedules, and reports as requested.Coordinating and overseeing that all team members have been provided the proper safety training and equipment.

What you'll need:

Construction knowledge in Civil or Landscape construction (Self-Performing contractor ideally).5+ years as a Senior APM or PM managing multiple civil projects.Proficiency in using Procore or HCSS to forecast cost and schedule.Minimum 3 years of related experience.Civil or landscape construction knowledge.Ability to read blueprints.Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or commensurate experience.2 years of prior experience with a heavy/civil self-perform construction company preferred.

What to expect:

Opportunity to work directly with the owner and another assistant.Work hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Brand new office space in Bridgewater.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $67.30
