MAU is hiring a Project Manager for Carolina Fabricators in West Columbia, SC. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the quoting, planning, and execution of fabrication projects, ensuring that all requirements are met, materials are sourced, and projects are completed on schedule and within budget. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package Annual Bonus 401k matching Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short term disability Long term disability Paid time off Health savings account Shift Information Monday to Thursday | 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience (preferred) 5+ years of relevant industry experience in a manufacturing environment; energy industry experience (nuclear, coal, oil & gas) preferred 3+ years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication and/or machining (required) General Requirements Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, with the ability to interpret and render drawings to scale Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team-based environment Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize workflow Essential Functions Provide accurate quotes for fabrication projects (welding, machining, etc.) based on customer-supplied drawings Organize and plan jobs to meet all requirements while ensuring completion within budget and on schedule Work with suppliers to obtain material quotes, place orders, and expedite deliveries when necessary Generate shop travelers (job order paperwork) and weld maps to communicate required information to the shop Produce shop fabrication drawings from customer designs using AutoCAD (2D and 3D) Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure job requirements are met; lead project kick-off meetings for new orders Manage individual projects while working closely with other project managers in a team environment Interface with customers via email, phone, and meetings during the quoting and order phases to address needs and concerns #PS
